Course Hero was built by students to help students!

Course Hero is an open social learning network for students, educators and self-learners to publish, share and view academic resources online. In support of the Open Educational Resources (OER) movement, Course Hero provides critical and timely learning assistance through our user-contributed materials and most importantly online study groups comprised of students, educators and self-learners.

Today, Course Hero focuses its product and services on undergraduate and graduate students - providing a unique opportunity to share their knowledge and teach each other.

Intellectual honesty and integrity is a #1 priority of Course Hero. We DO NOT support any and all use of user submitted educational materials for unethical purposes, such as plagiarism or other forms of cheating. The educational materials found on www.coursehero.com should be used to supplement current study efforts within the defined limits of each student's respective university code of academic integrity.

Ultimately, Course Hero's mission is to enhance college education to new heights by enhancing a student's theoretical (textbook) understanding with a student's direct application of such theories in today's real-life examples.

For Students: Course Hero believes that students are an underutilized asset today in driving deeper course-related understanding of all other students. As a complement to an educator's current teachings, students are well positioned to help explain concepts and share knowledge with each other in an unparalleled and highly personalized manner. With this ideal, Course Hero is committed to fostering an open platform that facilitates highly effective and clear education dialog among students, professors and self-learners.

For Educators: Unfortunately in today's offline classroom, educators are limited to teach and impact only those students who are enrolled in their respective courses. Course Hero provides educators the opportunity to not only expand the number of positively impacted students, but the opportunity to share their methods of instruction and knowledge well beyond the classroom with fellow educators, students and self-learners.

Course Hero is a "Give and Get" network whereby content seekers can acquire valuable course-related materials from their peers once they contribute to the benefit of the overall social learning network. Today, our Social Learning Network is comprised of students, professors and self-learners, but we plan to bring on additional partners that help Course Hero drive on its ultimate mission.

Anyone with a Facebook account can access and view documents posted on Course Hero once they have either contributed course-related documents (for which they have the right to upload), invited friends and/or become a monthly subscriber.
