According to a recent New York Times article, Pew Research analysis of census data found that this year for the first time 1/3 of US 25-29-year-olds will hold at least a bachelor’s degree. With more and more individuals attending college, many adults are looking to graduate school opportunities as a way to advance their studies and differentiate themselves in this growing pool of highly educated job candidates.

While for many graduate school broadens career prospects and can lead to significant salary increases, it is also incredibly expensive and often hard to justify when you’re already struggling to pay off your undergraduate student loans.
