Library Fabric Project ADM 2302 Part 1 Find examples of 20 DIFFERENT fabrics from off the list in magazines. Render each fabric on which ever garment template it works with best, modifying the garment for the fall of the fabric but not the size May be in different colors than original photo. Mount rendered garment templates onto Bristol Board or cardstock this can be cut down to 8 x 11 if you want things to fit in a normal notebook. Write fabric info AND write which art materials were used to create each rendering beside or underneath the rendered square. o Ex. Suede: Gouache base with detailing of chalk applied by stump Put pages in page protectors and in a notebook or somehow bind pages together NEATLY. Include TYPED title page at front of project AND a typed/numbered table of contents for the fabric examples you included. Part 2 Create 2 11x14 which illustrations cumulatively contain at least 8 of the textures rendered from swatches. One illustration must be a group of 3 or more figures. The other at least 2 figures or more. Textures should be on garments and in reasonable proportions (not tiny patches). Things like skirts, blouses, and pants are counted, not pockets, yokes, or belts. Use Bristol board or other illustration paper, but NOT newsprint or typing paper for the 2 illustrations.
