The society has disintegrated, the institutions are criminalised. Because of this we need a government which has vision or things will fall apart further under pressure from the international community, Sonja Biserko told Novi Sad daily Dnevnik. Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica has succeeded only in as much as he has given the world the impression that, if his government falls, the Serbian Radical Party will come to power. That s the basis of Western support for this government, although that government is secretly cooperating with the Radicals and surviving on projects which all these years have experienced only defeats, she added. Serbia is really governed by the various magnates business who stirred up wars and then made a profit from them. They have a strong reason to obstruct essential changes such as democratisation, facing the past and opening secret files, said Sonja Biserko.
