NEWS Negative balance of Belarusian power engineering amounts to half- billion US dollars 18:54, 20/06/2007 In his speech at the government sitting minister of economics Mikalai Zaichanka reported that the export of petrochemicals in Belarus decreased in January-April period by USD 205.1 million and the export of the Belarusian oil was not performed at all. Meanwhile, import of the energy products increased by USD 134 million and gas deliveries by USD 359 million due to the price-raise for the blue fuel. The negative international trade balance of energy goods has been formed at the level of USD 504,1 million. We suppose to significantly improve the situation in this sector of the foreign trade through settling problems of oil delivery along with reaching the full capacity of oil refineries and improving petrochemicals minister export, of economics Mikalai Zaichanka declared. According to the minister of economics, the major Russian deliverers of oil for producing petrochemicals for Russia returned to the Belarusian refineries. Belarus is going to improve the situation in the oil sector.
