If you or someone you know is interested in checking out Northland for possible future ministry training, we are pleased to provide up to two nights of overnight accommodations absolutely free for prospective students and their parents or sponsors. Accommodations include three free meals in our dining hall. Prospective students the enjoy experience of staying in our student dormitories, while sponsors or parents may stay in our comfortable guest rooms, as they are available. To Pastors, Christian Educators, and Alumni Northland is committed to serving ministry leaders. We extend a hearty invitation to pastors, Christian educators, and alumni. Those who accompany prospective students as sponsors or chaperones receive up to two nights of free overnight accommodations and three free meals in Northlands dining hall. We also welcome camp, Christian school, or mission recruiters with free accommodations for two nights as well as three free meals. Alumni who are members of Northlands Alumni Association also receive special accommodations and meal discounts whenever they visit campus. Anyone in ministry also receives meal discounts. Planning Ahead Due to the many visitors Northland accommodates each year, please plan your visit well in advance. To make campus reservations, please call Guest Services at (715) 324-6900, ext. 3000, and ask for the reservations secretary. Make sure to provide the number in your group as well as exact arrival and departure times. 230 Our Personal Invitation Directions to Campus From Chicago Take I-94 north to Milwaukee. In Milwaukee, take I-43 north to Green Bay (3 hours). Take Highway 41/141 north and follow 141 toward Iron Mountain, Michigan. Three miles past Amberg, Wisconsin, look for the Northland sign. Turn left (west) on County L. Follow the winding road and signs for five miles. From Mackinac Bridge Take Highway 2 west. Stay on Highway 2 until Norway, Wisconsin (about 3 hours). In Norway, go south on Highway 8 to Highway 141. Take Highway 141 south through Pembine (about 25 minutes). Turn right on County L. At the end of County L, turn left on Pike Plains Rd. From Minneapolis Take Highway 8 east to Dunbar, Wisconsin (6 hours). Three miles east of Dunbar, look for the Northland sign. Turn right (south) on Lily Lake Road. Follow Lily Lake Road and signs to Pike Plains Road.
