Page 1 of 3 EPA SLN No. OR-040005 DIRECTIONS FOR USE This label and the federal label for this product must be in the possession of the user at the time of pesticide application. Follow all applicable directions, restrictions, and precautions on this Supplemental label and the main EPA-registered label. It is a violation of federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. Fulfill is a selective insecticide for the control of certain aphid species in alfalfa grown for seed. Fulfill works primarily by ingestion, but also has some contact activity. Fulfill has residual activity in the plant and will control aphids that move onto the plant after spraying. Affected aphids stop feeding shortly after exposure, but may remain on the plant foliage until they die, which is usually within 2-7 days. Suitability for Integrated Pest Management Programs Fulfill is suitable for Integrated Pest Management (IPM) programs as it has a low toxicity to beneficial insects (including honeybees and bumblebees) and mites. It can be used in IPM programs using beneficial insects. Aphid pests controlled by Fulfill include: green peach aphid, pea aphid, cabbage aphid, turnip aphid, and potato aphid. Alfalfa Grown for Seed Apply Fulfill at a rate of 2.75 oz/A when aphids first appear, before populations build to damaging levels. A second application may be made to manage persistent aphid populations. Thorough spray coverage of plant foliage is essential for optimum control. Apply in sufficient water to ensure good coverage; use a minimum of 5 gals/A when applied by air and a minimum of 10 when gals/A applied by ground. Increase spray volume to 10-20 gals/A under adverse conditions (i.e., high temperature, low relative humidity, dense plant canopy). The addition of a penetrating type spray adjuvant, at the manufacturers suggested rate, is recommended to provide optimum coverage and penetration. Restrictions/Precautions: " " " " " DO NOT apply more than 2.75 oz of Fulfill/A per application. DO NOT exceed a total of 5.5 oz of Fulfill/A per crop per season. Allow a minimum of 7 days between applications. Allow 14 days (PHI) between the last application and harvest. The rotational (plantback) restriction for Fulfill is 30-days. DO NOT apply this product through any type of irrigation system. Page 2 of 3 EPA SLN No. OR-040005 Special Crop Use Restrictions The pesticide applicator, the producer of the crop, and the seed conditioner must be aware that use of this product according to this labeling is deemed a nonfeed/non-food use by the Oregon Department of Agriculture, and is regulated by Oregon Administrative Rule (OAR) 603-0570535, Pesticide Use On Crops Grown For Seed. If the applicator of this pesticide is not the producer, the applicator should provide a copy of this labeling to the producer of the crop. Producers of this crop who use this product, or cause the product to be used on a field they operate, should provide a copy of this pesticide label to the seed conditioner. This pesticide does not have an established pesticide residue tolerance for this crop. Consequently, no portion of this seed crop may be used or distributed for food or feed for 1 year (365 days) after the last application of this product. This restriction pertains to, but is not limited to: green chop, forage, hay, pellets, meal, whole seed, cracked seed, straw, roots, bulbs, foliage or seed screenings, and to the graz...
