Blouse
The blouse has a plunging neckline with lace in a wavy pattern. The sleeves are puffed and they include a strip of fabric that extends about an inch and a half after the puffed sleeve which is a curvy strip of lace. The fabric tactile used is smooth. The fabric used is a satin mixed with spandex
Blouse Color
I decided to use Monochromatic scheme for the color of the garment. The fabric on the blouse is selected to have only cool colors to create a feeling of sophistication. The teal blue also has a higher intensity which can evoke excitement. The black and white however, create a more relaxed feeling.

Pencil Skirt
This pencil skirt has a tight fit and is made of a stretchy, shiny, silky, yet flexible fabric (Satin with Spandex). This fabric hugs the curves and accentuates the person's body type.
Pencil Skirt Colors
The skirt comes in a black. Black is noticeably a more subtle and restful color. The black on the skirt is a low intensity color. This creates a more relaxed feeling. The colors are cooler and are lower in value.
Both the pencil skirt and the blouse have physical lines ( the seam lines) The body also creates lines by the contours. There is a more organic shape since there are more curvilinear lines which are comparable to lines in nature. The flat shows effect the silhouette rather than the nature of the figure. Planar integration is also used to show that the dimensionality is decreased. This outfit would be good for the "W" type or "X" type creating more curves instead of draping off the body.

The satin fabric has a glossy surface with flexibility (spandex has been mixed with it) for stretching to create a more fitting garment in order to accentuate a woman's curves. The skirt and blouse have a smooth surface contour, slippery surface friction, and are shiny.

Seams- The seams on the skirt are on the side and near the zipper. The seams on the blouse are around the armholes and the bottom of the blouse as well as around the plunging neckline attaching the lace to the silk-satin with spandex mix. Darts-There are no darts in the skirt or top since the skirt and top are both made out of a silk-satin with a spandex mix. This fabric contours the body, so there is no need for a dart. Gathering-On the puffed sleeves of the blouse, there is an elastic band which is attached to the lace in order to hold the puffed sleeve in place.

Repetition- There is repetition in the shape of the lines, and form as well as the texture. Parallelism- There is only parallelism visible in the shape of the garment since there are no lines or designs. Harmony- The garment is consistent in mood and feeling. Both pieces are made of the same material.
