Brief description of the session With the use of PhotoStory 3 you are able to create a video from still images. This free software (works with windows only) allows you to add narration, add special effects and background music to your video. It is an easy program to use. 2. Your thoughts on the subject matter (impact of the technology in question) Because this software is free and easy to use, I can see it being very useful in the classroom for student created projects. I personally can't wait to make my own video and show my students how to use it. You can be very creative your with project and it's similar to PowerPoint, that the students will love using this. 3. What would be required (resources, policy, hardware, support, etc.) to make this technology or approach work in your environment? There is not very many requirements that are needed to use this software. It is only compatible with Windows, it has to be downloaded (free), and a microphone is needed to record the narration. This technology can work today in my environment. ...
