It has allowed great things to occur, most of which include allowing users to perform everyday tasks online. Shopping for example, is the new up and coming thing to do on the web. Online shopping has expanded in the past few years. When it first came out, most were skeptical as to how secure your information would be, but in present day security systems have been put into place to protect your information. Online shopping has expanded from being once unheard of, into one of the largest tools on the web. In 1979 Michael Aldrich, a systems installer and designer in the UK, came up with the idea for online shopping. It finally began to take effect when the web was developed in 1990 and has grown exponentially with the popularity of the internet since its initial development.
