This Laboratory Safety Inspection is an appraisal of chemical hygiene and general safety precautions in your laboratory. Its purpose is to evaluate your laboratory's compliance with the University's Safety Manual and Chemical Hygiene Plan . This inspection form provides a mechanism for identifying weaknesses in your everyday laboratory activities and an opportunity for you to correct deficiencies in order to reduce the risk of an accident or injury to you or your staff. After marking problem areas, use Next Page to add COMMENTS.
It is extremely important that the deficiencies identified be promptly addressed and corrected. An excessive number of deficiencies, or uncorrected repeat deficiencies, will result in disciplinary action. Questions or comments regarding the inspection should be directed to the Hazardous Material Manager or Coordinator at 565-4429.
