758 October IES/CEE 9, 2002 Laboratory Assignment Number 5 Histogram and Level Slice Program (Due: Oct. 16, 2002) Assignment Requirements: 1. Add a option to produce scatter plots of an image to your program. The option should do the following a. Gets the two dimensional histogram counts for two bands selected by the user. b. Stores these counts in a 256 x 256 image with pixel type of long (s32) and one band. The one band is a scatter plot. 2. Add a level slice option to the program. This option should show the DisplayOneBand form, which we will provide. This form lets the user choose an image and band and then displays the band in a window. Modify it so that it also displays the level slice form described in the next step. Be sure to use Show() instead of ShowModal() because we want the user to be able to do zooms, pans and other operations on the image window while this level slice form is showing. (ShowModal prevents the user from doing anything on other windows of the program till the form is closed.) 3. Create a level slice form with the following a. The name of the image chosen by the previous form. (DisplayOneBand1->FileName()) b. The band chosen. (DisplayOneBand1->Band()); c. Two edit boxes to hold the top and bottom pixel values the for level. d. Three edit boxes labeled Red, Green and Blue to hold color values for the level. e. An Apply Color button, which the user will press to set pixels in the level to the color. f. A Close button to close the form. 4. The OnShow routine of the level slice form should retrieve the values for the first two items from the FileName and Band function of DisplayOneBand form and set the labels showing these items. It should also retrieve and store a pointer to the band window with the ImageWindowPointer function of DisplayOneBand. 5. The click routine for the Apply Color button should get the color values and the top and bottom pixel values for the level from the edit boxes. It should then retrieve the color lookup table from the image w...
