2000 GENERAL
SECTION
2001 PURPOSE
These specifications shall govern the character of materials and procedures for improvements constructed under City or County inspection and jurisdiction. SECTION 2002 CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS VERIFICATION
Certification of weight, measure and quality of any material in used the construction, covered by these specifications, shall be furnished when requested by the Engineer. The Contractor should be prepared to submit copies of such certifications, indicating that the materials conform to these specifications or the requirements of the plans and special provisions, prior to those materials being incorporated into the project. The Engineer or his authorized representative will at all times have access to all portions of any processing plant being used for material processing for the project. Sampling and testing of processed and unprocessed material shall be under the control and direction of the Engineer and shall be accomplished in accordance with the provisions set forth in these specifications.
