Stevens Kelly Reflection - The Mitten, Learning Guide and Taught Lesson Spring 2008 As I look back at preparing and teaching this lesson, I realize it was a lot of work and some of things I focused on were not that important and that there were other things that I should have concentrated on. First of all, it was fun and I enjoyed doing it. That makes me feel confident. I think the students enjoyed it and it was a good review for them on sequence. One of the things I could have done a little different is during the time the students went in the is mitten, that they could have each announced what sequence they were. An example of this is, "I am the rabbit and I am second to go into the mitten".
