2: Assignment KOLB 2 Directions and Scoring Introduced: Week 3 Due: Week 5 Overview of Activity: Using the KOLB reflection process examine tenets of human development, learning, and diversity as they apply to an identified child study student. Each case will focus on a discrete observation of at least 15 minutes. The analysis will focus on the affective, cognitive, and physical aspects of the child based on the observation data. Detailed Directions Week 3: Individual Activity Describe your student using a stage from Erickson, his or her self concept, and each level of Bronfenbrenner's Ecological Systems Theory. This is an individual activity that you can do with your team during our F2F session. This forms the basis of your KOLB 2 draft. Use the same student from the previous KOLB. This will help you complete your KOLB 2 journal reflection. Week 4: Review and Revise Look at your KOLB 2 journal guidelines and the feedback you received on your individual activity (draft KOLB 1) and complete your KOLB 2. Week 4: Submit 2 KOLB Look at your KOLB 2 journal guidelines and ensure that the final version of your KOLB 2 meets all criteria. Submit the completed version in your individual discussion forum. Scoring: Insert scoring tool below: Criteria Points Possible 20 Points Earned Utilizes Kolb's four modes to structure the entry AE: Includes at least 3 concrete, measureable actions related to the journal topics and the abstract 25 conceptualization (think SMART) CE: Events related in an "objective" manner; no feelings or explanations as to why is provided. 25 RF: Explains the emotional connections with the events 15 ...
