Job Job Title: Seasonal Baggage Claim and Customer Service Assist
Location: Hartsfield Jackson Airport/ AirTran Airways
Reporting To: HR Manager or Division Manager
Job Status: Full Time/Seasonal, Summer
Job Description:
Assist customers with customer service related concerns. Directed traffic in airport in the
baggage claim section. Provided assistance to travelers about their bags and answered questions
about luggage. Escorted unaccompanied minors on the concourses and to their flights. Assisted
handicap with wheelchair to & from their destination.
Nature of Work: Managerial and Customer Service
Roles and Responsibilities: Makes physical contact with customers, Performs routine follow and
regular up with customers, Knowledge of airport, Comfortable with information on
flights, Assist with young children, & Great Communication and Verbal skills.
Competencies, Skills, and Knowledge required for the Position: Knowledge in the area of
reading and communicating flight instructions & required to have customer service experience.
Education: Preferably High School or College Student
Certificates: N/A
Physical Requirements: Required to be able to lift 50 lbs. & the capability to push any size
wheelchair with person inside.
Any Comments: No detailed or entry level requirements needed, just basic skills and abilities.
Also, willing to train in needed areas.
