order In to prepare a good final thesis you will need to present your thesis statement as part of the introduction (the first few paragraphs of the paper), in the 'body' of the paper you will provide background information necessary for the reader to understand the topic and the data supporting your thesis (and rebut the data that contradicts your thesis), and then conclude the paper. For this course your final thesis should be relatively narrow as you must keep your paper to between 1,250 and 5,000 words (at an average of 250 words per page, this is between 5 and 20 pages. Please note, this word count text, is and it does not include figure legends, the bibliography, title page, etc.). As part of your final thesis, you must use a minimum of 10 reliable sources of different types (books, academic journal articles, reputable internet sources, etc. (Wikipedia, for example, is NOT to be used as a resource). As with any college-level paper, all sources should be cited properly, you should use proper grammar and spelling, etc. Formatting should be completed in an acceptable manner (MLA, APA, etc).
