IntroductionIn this post, I will discuss a grand theory and how I feel it can be applied to research. Also, I will discussthe phenomenon that is highlighted in this theory as well as any assumptions that are underpinning thistheory.Grand Theory & Application to ResearchGrand theories serve to provide the “world’s view” of nursing and tend to be very abstract (Peterson,2016, p. 21).
