Second paper Economics 100 November 30, 2007 Choose one of the following two subjects.  The paper should be thoughtful and well organized.  It should be no longer than  one single-spaced page.  Please do not use an extremely small font size. You are encouraged to discuss the contents of the paper with others in the class.  The actual writing of the paper should be  your own work.  You should assume that you are working under the Honor Code when you do the writing.   Please be sure that your name and topic number are on your paper.   1. Our current federal budget deficit is projected, under the most realistic assumptions, to increase significantly for  sometime to come.  Explain why that may be or may not be of concern.  If a fiscal policy is designed to reduce the  budget deficit, what might that policy be?  Be specific in what you might cut or expand in terms of spending and/or
