Wilson They were married for over 20 years and he gave her a car for her birthday. They divorced and she asked to keep the car on his lawn and it remained there for about ten years. He is now suing for $6600 as a storage fee for keeping the car on his property for those years. Can Williams sue for storage fees at this time even though he agreed to let the car stay there for ten years without complaint? Statute of limitations for property in California ends in two years. The judge dismissed the case because the statute of limitations had passed. He was trying to sue for the incident that happened 11 years ago....
