So started designing products for women that were competitive. - They were the last to get in the aluminum bat making business. - They are also part of the hockey stick and golf clubs - Have used the nostalgia of the name to sell their products - 8/10 americans recognize the brand. - Give people liscences to use their name and were pretty successful - Branding - branding needs a strategy decision (9-5) - a brand means the use of the name, term, symbol or design to identity a product - a brand name- a unique word (Ex IBM), a letter, or a group of letters. Dell slants their e in their logo. -
