MARUTI SUZUKI INDIA INDUSTRY 2 Research problem Maruti Suzuki India Limited is an automotive industry based in India. The company is considered as a new product introduction with the aim of defending its leadership position in the A-segment. It has adopted numerous strategies with the aim of retaining its competitive advantage in the field of the Indian car market. The main problem that the MSIL Company encounters is the new product development, better product strategies, market forces, and new product decisions that it should invest in so as to retain the positive image in the industry and to successfully defend its position in the A-segment. The MSIL Company is forced to make clear decisions on reassessing its potential growth opportunities and strategies that will ensure that the company has successfully defended its position in the A-segment (Khandelwal, 2016). The problem is caused by the rising competition from the emerging automotive industries such as Toyota and Hyundai. The competitors forced the MSIL Company to lay new strategies and tactics on how to set prices on their products, how to improve the quality of the products invested on, distribution channels, and adopting attractive promotions. Key stakeholders The problem encountered has numerous effects on the potential stakeholders. The stakeholders are the automotive industries and the manufacturers of the automobiles. The stakeholders are directly linked to the problem since they are the key decision makers who will, in the end, determine which product will be deemed effective in the market and draws more utility to the clients. The clients can also be the critical stakeholders since they will have to attest to whether or not the automobiles produced by the automotive industries have satisfied their utility. If the automobile produced have not met their utility; therefore, the automotive company involved must make an extra mile in ensuring that the product is improved to satisfy the utility
