Genny DiDonato 10 December 2006 THP 311 Drew Chappell Final How I Will Use THP 311 in My Classroom When I was in junior high, my school offered a theatre class as an elective. I never saw it differently, I always saw it as something used for the “drama world”; but now I can see that theatre is a very versatile tool that can make your lesson plan come alive. This class has shown me the possibilities of incorporating fun and excitement into the classroom. I will be able to take a lot from this class, and be able to incorporate it into my future lesson plans in many different ways. My focus in elementary education is in both math and science. Both subjects can be highly interactive in ways of labs, projects, etc., but never did I see the possibilities of theatre being involved with the two subjects. The one that I enjoyed most was the “Architect Plans”, it is an interactive but reality based project. The project shows students how math is important in the real world, by giving them a project that will spike their interest while also leaving room for
