Genny DiDonato 17 November 2006 EDP 310 Dominica McBride Site Visit What I Learned I am use to an Ann Arbor Michigan school district, a school district that is liberal and democratic, and a school district that is in state that pushes the importance of independence, and education. Arizona is a beautiful state that offers a lot to our country, but as for education it is rank at the bottom. Arizona is just that, a materialistic, plastic surgery, over obsessed about looks, kind of state. But after the site visit on Wednesday November 15, I began to see Arizona in a whole new light. I began to see that a state can be different, but young children are alike across the country. Young third grade children have the same kid like personalities in Michigan as they do in Arizona. My third grade partner named Charelle gave me this reality shock as she ran up to me and grabbed my hand, and said; “Do you want to be my partner? Okay let’s go!” She grabbed my hand with a smile and pulled me away. My partner Charelle was a nice out spoken girl who didn’t quite know how to befriend some of her fellow peers.
