Mark A. Beliles,& Douglas S. Anderson, Contending for the Constitution,pg. 109 (2005). Divine origin can berelated to the view that Christians have because, in the Bible, it is mentioned that man is createdin God’s image. “So God created mankind in His own image, in the image of God He createdthem; male and female He created them.” Genesis, 1:27 (NIV). In addition, this means that therewas no mistake because God makes no mistakes that, as humans, we are made in the image ofthe true God. So we as humans don’t need to change what God created because we should knowthe truth. The Constitution was made mainly based on the values and views of the Bibleregarding the divine origin and stating that without God and His opinions of us, man would havealways been unworthy of what the Constitution has to offer.
