Examples of Logos, Pathos, and Ethos.Logos, ethos, and pathos are simply persuasion techniques that lead to the formation of a rhetorical triangle. They are also known as rhetorical appeals[ CITATION Tin18 \l 2057 ]. They form the means of persuading others into believing a particular aspect or point. Ethos –used as a means of convincing an audience through credibility of the persuader. The persuader in this case can be a famous celebrity or a person who has immense experience in that field. Examples of ethos could include:“Our expertise in roofing contracting is evidenced not only by our 50 years in the business and our staff of qualified technicians, but in the decades of satisfied customers who have come to expect nothing but the best.”“If you are still unsure, please consider that my advanced degree and fieldwork speak for themselves.”“If my years as a marine taught me anything, it’s that caution is the best policy in this sort of situation.”
