Should Mary Lee be sent to prison or allowed to remain on probation?When it comes to Mary Lee’s case, I can understand why the judge has grown frustrated with hercontinuing to get in trouble and not taking her probation serious. In all fairness though I spendmore time with Mary than he does so I get to see the efforts that she puts on trying her best to geton the right track. I would explain to the judge that her being locked up will also not help but puther in a deeper hole than she already is. If locked up not only, will she get her kids taken but alsolose the home she works so hard to keep and when she got out would have nothing to get out to. Iwould ask him that we reinstate her probation one more time and help her get resources for foodand help with her bills so that she does not have to commit these crimes to provide for her kids.
