1.Describe when you would use the following presentation methods.-Verbal PresentationWe using verbal presentation when essential to focus the mind of thecritic on those aspects of the design that formed part of the educationalobjectives of the project and that you yourself find most important. Keepthe presentation business-like and engage the critics. Stand straight, look confident without appearing arrogant, and lookpeople in the eye.-Video presentationWe need to use video presentation when we want tell stories andprovoke emotional responses of the audience, and to makecommunicate more with less, increase purchase intent, Createatmosphere and add drama also break the monotony.-StoryboardsThink about the last time you began to prepare a formal presentation fora group. There is a good chance the presentation included slides. If youwere not reusing an old set of slides, you probably opened upPowerPoint or Keynote, picked a template, and began creating slidecontent. I would like suggest a different approach to designing apresentation: creating a storyboard. Storyboarding is a technique fordeveloping the structure and content of a presentation. Once you haveidentified your audience, purpose, and context, you are ready to beginstoryboarding.2. Detail 5 different presentation aids, and how they can benefit yourpresentation.ObjectsPhysical things can be very useful and create a very visceral impact asyou use them as direct examples or as metaphors for points you wantto make.PhotographsPhotographs provide a picture of reality and are easily included inslides where they can be used illustrate a point or just provide abackground. They are good for illustrating action, evoking emotion andmore. When you show a person doing something, your audience may
well empathize with the image, putting themselves in the place of thatperson.A disadvantage of photos is that the important detail can be lost so itmay be important to ensure they are projected on a large screen. It is also important with photographs of people that any legalconstraints, such as privacy laws, are considered. If in doubt, start byconsidering whether the person may or may not be happy to be inyour photograph. Whilst it is often ok to have people in thebackground, when they are the subject and when you are using themto promote something, then you may be on difficult ground.DiagramsDiagrams illustrate concepts and ideas by using shapes rather thanwords. Shapes can have different internal angles and use color withspecific effect, such as using red to make something stand out or implydanger. They can be positioned relative to one another for subtleeffect, for example higher up or more central often means 'moreimportant'.
