Everyone is an Actor An individual who plays the role of a character in a three- dimensional entity is an actor. This individual is interpreting a  character with different emotions, feelings, and life experiences than  his or her own. The purpose of an actor is to tell a story. The actor  wants the audience to receive a message from the performance. The  job of an actor is to interpret a character and successfully tell that  character’s story.   An imitation that is so distorted or inferior as to be ludicrous is  caricature. It is used to create humorously exaggerated version of a  character to entertain the audience. The actor uses oversimplification  to make the work more interesting. Caricature is used to make the  performance entertaining to the audience. A character is used to represent a thought, idea, or concept of a playwright. This representation exceeds human forms in some cases. Without characters, there would not be a story. The characters build  the purpose of the story. There would be no story if there were no  characters.  The message or purpose of the story is received through  the characters.  In a character, there are traits that make up the character.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
