The video goes through the interview process of two potential candidates Jacqueline and
Sonya – for a role in a company. An interview essentially is a conversation, normally
structured, where participants on one side asks questions, and a participant on the other
answers them. In more common parlance, the meaning of interview refers to conversation
conducted by an interviewer with an interviewee (Doyle, 2020).
In the interviews as shown in the video, there were several things that the interviewers did
right, and many that they did not. The following list describes three things that were good,
and three that were not.
The three good segments of the interviews:
1. During the process, the interviewee was asked about her greatest challenges and
strengths while being asked to expand upon aspects such as her describing herself as a
