KIT707 KNOWLEDGE AND INFORMATION MANAGEMENT LEADERS REPORT MODULE 7 Topic 2 – Evaluating Knowledge If we wanted to create a 'Quality Checklist' to evaluate digital information, what items would you include? Answer It has been found even university students rely on the ranking of digital information but not determining the credibility of information themselves (Wineburg & McGrew 2017). Compared to paper information, digital information is more accessible and editable. Thus it is more important for digital information to have a quality checklist for evaluation to make it can be used. The team lists the items in the checklist, including correctness, formality and timeliness. To begin with, the most important is to check whether the information is “correct”, which means the information should be created by correct methods in the related area. For example, data analysts need to build correct models which satisfy the assumptions. In addition, the data should be related, some cannot use the data of students to study the patients’ conditions.
