American Literature II:Paraphrase the poem of Robert Frost:This poem is written by Robert Frost called “Mending Wall”, in this poem the poet argues thatthere may be something nearby that keeps breaking down the wall. Perhaps the groundwaterfreezes and the resulting ice spreads, causing cracks in the wall and causing the boulders at thetop to come down and the crack then widens to the point that two people can walk in the sameway across it side by side. The poet ignores the possibility that hunters broke down the wall.After hunters reorganized the stones to allow rabbits to escape from their holes for their dogs tochase, he made changes and repairs himself. The holes that have now grown on the wall, wereformed by something unseen and unheard. According to the author, the wall separates two landsseparated by a hill. The hole is identified to the farmer who lives on the other side of the hill. Atime is set for them to meet and walk along the wall, each surveying the damage on his side. The
