With COVID 19 forcing many students to access learning from home, technology hasbeen an extremelyimportant component of our students’ education.RUSD acknowledges that not all families have the same access to a computer and wi-fi at home. Therefore, chromebooks will be checked out to all students for schoolandhome use as anessential instructional tool.Carrying a computer to and from home will require some adjustments on the part of students andfamilies. This guide is intended to provide information aboutgeneral procedures, wi-fi options, basic instructions, andcustomer support.Once again, we are very excited to be able to provide chromebooks to ALL RUSD students tocontribute to their academic success. We wish you the very best for the 2020-21 school year.Sincerely,Jamie CortzDirector of Instructional Technology and Accountability
