trial. It is a new method for the detection, prevention, and treatments of the disease. “The
National Institutes of Health conducted the STEP vaccine clinical trial” from 2004 to 2007, with
Phase IIB, which is known as "test-of concept" study[ CITATION Vig03 \l 1033 ].
Prior to beginning this study, how would you have described the risks and benefits of the
study to participants?
Before initiating the study, I would have explained that although the trial is promising,
