Proposal for Guiding Tourist on-the-Go
The City of Beaumont, Texas. A town famous for lumber, rice, and oil in the 1880’s, is becoming a popular
tourist attraction. Every year the numbers increase with more and more people from all over the country
coming to visit. With the world becoming more and more dependent on technology, people are
increasingly moving away from road maps and going to mobile maps. When tourist arrive at the town of
their destination they once again go to their maps or search for attractions near them. I have an idea to
put all the time-consuming searching in one easy to use app. The tourist would receive the step-by-step
directions as well as see what famous attractions are near them. Also, there would be recommended
places by other previous tourists.
