Task GroupFor the case of Paula Cortez, I would use a task group as an intervention. Paula recentlyhad to be involuntarily hospitalized due to being a suicide risk (Plummer, Makris, & Brocksen,2014). Paula is pregnant, HIV-positive, has HEP-C and does not always take her medication(Plummer, Makris, & Brocksen, 2014). Paula has a doctor that specifically treats her HIV(Plummer, Makris, & Brocksen, 2014). Paula meets with a psychiatrist regularly to discuss hermental health (Plummer, Makris, & Brocksen, 2014). She has been in psychiatric services for 10years and has been on and off in terms of compliance (Plummer, Makris, & Brocksen, 2014).Paula also has an OB nurse that advises her due to her being pregnant (Plummer, Makris, &Brocksen, 2014). The social worker is working with multiple other medical professionals to helpher address all of the aspects of Paula’s life.Model of Treatment Group
