Promotion Implementation Plan To implement the Cornell Dairy Bar’s Flavor of the Week promotion, the timeline will begin two weeks before the start of the 2008-2009 academic school year. News of the promotion will be highlighted on the Dairy Bar’s webpage beginning the week of August 11 th , 2008. Additionally, signs noting the Flavor of the Week campaign will be put up in the Dairy Bar at this time. The promotion will then officially launch on Monday, August 25 th , three days before classes begin. Every Monday, a new flavor will be designated for the weekly promotion. A large dry-erase board with that week’s specialty ice cream flavor will be put up in the store next to the menu board. Additionally, the website will be updated each Monday informing customers of the new ice cream flavor. The final week of the promotion will begin on Monday, May 18 th 2009, Senior Week. If the promotion ultimately helps increase revenue by the stated goal of 15%, however, it can be extended to the 2009-2010 school year and beyond.
