2Implementation Plan Telehealth technology infrastructure in an organization of St. Anthony Medical Center (SAMC) is evaluated for their current telehealth technology. Information technology (IT) department of SAMC to evaluate the security of the health information exchange (HIE), Electronic Medical Records (EMR), to meet the standard of State, Federal, and National coordination of telehealth guidelines and Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act (HIPAA) guidelines to protect all involved with telehealth technology. (Feldman et al., 2014)The evaluation of the e-mail/electronically collected, encrypted systems, uploading documents and consents, confidential information of others in the family if needed to be involved in telehealth technology. (Wrape & McGinn, 2018) The School and SAMC will have to also evaluate the software systems, hardware, security, firewalls, patient data collection process, and storage of their electronic information, privacy while using telehealth at SAMC and in the library at school or at their home. Security of phones, home computers, or other access devices use outside of school or SAMC is unknowns or missing information can be noted. Are the broadband systems capable to have telehealth technology function with no communication breakdown while communicating for appointments? Economically, is this financially impacting SAMC or school to implement telehealth technology if needed updates to the infrastructure? Or financially will need to be upgraded in the near future. The financial resources to educate individuals, stakeholders within the telehealth system for example is the patients Family Practice Provider trained, has access to telehealth technology, and is their infrastructure telehealth technology at the equivalent standards. This is the first step in System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology to analyze the present infrastructure within the organizations, identify deficiencies, evaluate, questionnaires to stakeholders, IT from SAMC, and the school. (Prasetyo et al., 2021)
3Tasks and Responsibilities This is the planning and requirements step in SDLC development of teams, stakeholders, financial resources, leadership, educators, IT, specific timeline dates, and expectations to create asuccessful telehealth implementation plan. The team leader for the program for all the sub-teams to communicate effectively, openly, and can make the critical decisions for the plan implementation. Stakeholders are a collaborative team of ED physicians, ED nurses, Behavioral and Mental Health physicians and counselors, ED education head, and Primary Care Physicians (PCP), the tasks of evaluating training needs from questionnaires from stakeholders, policy and procedures to be implemented, continuing evaluating with questionnaires after telehealth
