JP Boutros BA 101 Enron Case Study Enron Case Study Enron was one of the largest companies in the world in the 1900’s prior to their bankruptcy. They took the world by storm and made a name for themselves as a leading fortune 500 company in a way. The root of their problems was the root of most problems in our world; greed. The illegal activities they partook in, in order to maximize their share prices was done for the sole purpose of making the most amount of money possible. No matter what they have to do to get there, or what laws they had to break. They also practiced very unethical and selfish tactics in order to maximize their profits. They put all their employees' futures at risk, they also lied to and manipulated the entire world and all their investors and shareholders. Keeping in mind that all their employees invested their entire 401K into the company itself, all they cared about was increasing their profits.
