1Psychological Safety in the ChurchIntroduction In the social world contemporary, there is a belief that church leaders do not undergo psychological problems, a belief that might be biased. This is because when a person is asked if any psychological problems exist, they only mention between family members and social workers. As a pastoral role in the church is leadership that is similar with other kind leadership, the gap between the leaders and laity continues to grow as the society assume that it is the role ofpastors to deliver laity from psychological stress that may result to disorder1. Society has to note that it is inappropriate to assume that pastors are free from psychological problems. The relationship between church leaders and laity; a layperson continues to deteriorate in the United States. This is because most of the laity are immigrants who run to the church as a refuge for their conditions. Laity is often laypeople who are hopeless, they run to the church because they believe that their hope will be restored. From the church the vulnerable get aid2. As pastors are the head of the church, they perform a vital role in ensuring that these vulnerable get aid. Managing the funds and laity in the church is tiresome and tedious making the church leaders undergo a psychological problem. This problem causes a poor relationship between the two thus resulting in a psychological safety concern between the two. As the laity seek refuge and help, the church leaders who are pastors go through a lot to ensure that these people receive the aid. A research was conducted to ascertain the correlation between church leaders and immigrants in the US. 2Church used to develop laity.The question in the questionnaire is concerned if the church is used to encourage and have an escalated number of immigrants. The laity is people those members of the church who do hold a professional position3. Sometimes they are laypeople that often lie around in the churchand require help.
