It is a web  enhanced  course.   This  means  that  all materials  (this  syllabus,  chapter   outlines,  PowerPoint  slides  and  your  assignments   must  be viewed  and/or   downloaded  and  printed  from  the  college’s Angel Intranet  site.   This  can  be accessed   from  the  college’s main  web  page  (look  for the  heading  labeled   Angel  and  then  go to  the  ANGEL link) or by using  the  following  address  click  on  it.  It will take  you  directly   to the  Angel web  site  where  you  can  login  or enter  the  following  intranet  address   ( http:/ / a ngel.buffalostate.edu ).

Introduction to Business Syllabus DeNisco COURSE OBJECTIVES 1. To familiarize  the  students  with  an  overview  of the  various  areas  that  falls   within  business. 2. To develop  in students  sensitivity  to the  importance  of the   inter -relationships  between  business  and  the  environment  that  surrounds   it. 3. To provide  key  terms  so that  the  student  can  begin  to develop  their   business  vocabulary. 4. To provide  the  student  with  a practical  understanding  of business  by  citing  actual  situations  and  blending  it with  theory. 5. To provide  the  student  with  a forum  to experience  some  of these   components  through  assigned  exercises  & technology  using  the  Internet.
