Mike Miranda Professor McKinnis CWP 101 2 October 2007 Political Cartoon Political cartoons can be a very effective way for an author to prove a point or to poke fun at politicians or there ways. Sometimes a political cartoon can be just as effective as an article itself just do the simplicity of the cartoon and the fact that the reader also gets kick out of reading the cartoon. This is a political cartoon about George W. Bush. This cartoon displays George W. Bush teaching a class of Muslim students. On the blackboard in the class room the word democracy is written. George W. Bush who also is displayed a lot larger then the Muslim students is pointing at the board with pointer trying to teach the students. The Muslim students appear to be not paying attention to George Bush or seem to just not care with what he is trying to teach them. I think is cartoon is telling the public that George Bush is trying to help out the Muslims. He truly believes that what he is trying to do for Muslims and the Middle East is truly good for them and what they need to learn. However the Muslims just do not
