The 15 th Annual Wanda Hendricks-Bellamy Student Leadership Conference was very beneficial to me in my early life as a college student. The various speakers imparted some very valuable information that will take with me for the rest of my life. Amongst these great speakers included one of our very own, Mrs. Allison Sabb-Glenn. This was also a great networking opportunity. I met some individuals that I feel will help me out a lot in the very near and distant future. Although I did not attend all of the session, the four that I did attend were very informative and enjoyable. The first session, presented by Mr. James Winfield- Upward Bound Counselor at the University of South Carolina, spoke about stepping and stepping out as a college student and in our community. He stated that, “Doing more, being proactive and staying social in college is what makes the experience so remarkable.” In his presentation he highlighted many icons that have stepped up to the plate and made a difference in the world. This list included Steve Jobs, Cam Newton,
