Evaluate for the integral estimate of the function from x = 0 up to x = 2 using multipleapplication Trapezoidal rule for n = 6 segments and n = 12 segments.Let a equal to the lower limit of the function, which in this case is x=0, and let b equal tothe upper limit of the given function, which in this case is x=2. Solve for h the step size,which is b-a/n, wherein n=6 or n=12 segments.
X0 and x6, x0 and x12, which are the first and last functions respectively, will bemultiplied to 1, while the rest of the middle functions will be multiplied to 2.
The sum of all the products are then obtained. This sum will then be multiplied to h/2.
2. Evaluate for the integral estimate of the function from x = 0 up to x = 2 using multipleapplication Simpson’s 1/3 rule for n = 12 segments.
