(or 11:00am) Lisa Fone TR104 9:30am Sept. 25, 2007 Typing Your Papers for Media Appreciation This paper is an example of good formatting and typing skills for our Media Appreciation class. Hopefully, you will read it thoroughly, and follow these instructions for your three papers this semester. You will lose points if you don't follow these main directions, or your paper may not be accepted. This has been my introductory paragraph. Now, I'm going to tell you the main directions. Please note: I use PC Word menu hints (MAC s or different programs may have different settings). Here is the format to follow. Your font choice will be Times New Roman . Your font size will be 12 pt . Hopefully, these are the default settings on your computer. If not, simply change your options in the Toolbar or use the Format pull down menu (select Font). Your margins should be 1.25" on the sides and 1" at the bottom. You'll need to reduce your top margin (OR use the Header option) so you can type your name and information above. I used a
