They are a company that was ranked on theFortune 500 list in 2015. They are the largest providers of medicines (serving more than 50% ofU.S. hospitals and 20% of physicians), pharmaceutical supplies and health informationtechnology, products, and services. Karissa has worked in the Human Resources field with over31 years of Human resources experience, the previous 12 years, she worked at Marist College inHuman Resource as an Executive director of HR. She has an array of experience in terms ofstrategic retention, coaching, managing, performance management, staffing, training anddevelopment, compensation, and payroll. Karissa earned her bachelor’s degree from New YorkUniversity (NYU) in 1985 with a BS in Leadership & Management Studies and received herHuman Resource Management graduate degree with a minor concertation in communicationsfrom Hofstra University in 1988.Karissa still holds her Professional certification in HumanResources from SHRM along with her Senior Professional certification in Human Resource,which solidifies her credibility as an HR leader.For any business or organization to be successful, the quality of employers needs to betop notch with distinctive characteristics. Strategic recruitment would be the ideal way to makesure that the course of action would ensure the proper classification (Breaugh,2021). The missionstatement for McKesson is “Together with our customers and partners, we are creating asustainable future for health care- one product, one partner, one patient at a time” (McKesson,2018).This mission statement emphases on the persons health, wellbeing, and the quality of carewhile delivering the highest level of satisfaction of their products and medicine for the now andthe future.

McKesson believes that providing people who thecare and information can have a significant factor of a person’s wellbeing and care overall.
