First, we determine the kanban size. To do this, we determine the Production Order Quantity. which determines our kanban size. Qp = SQRT [ (2* 2500 * 30) / (120 * (1-10/20))] Qp = SQRT (150000 /60) Qp = SQRT (2500) = 50 Then we determine the number of kanbans.
