Dewey, the author point out that Education is more than ateacher and a textbook, because we can learn from other things in the absence ofnotification to them, like when we learn from our teachers, and our teachers in unawareof that, or when other people learn from us without knowing it, indeed, education islearning from experience from the society where we interact.The article as well, chronologically arranged the development of the educationalsociology, which is shows how it develops from abstract to an existing independentscience. The author believed that educational sociology is new branch of science dealsthe social law governing education. From its inception, the sociologist believe that thethere is a student will be part of the society in the future, thus sociology and education
