The five components include: managingpopulation health, implementing a platform for cost control, renovating primary care services,making individuals and their families a primary focus, and implementing system execution andintegration methods (IHI, 2021).ImprovementsQuality of care throughout our nation is impaired due to our use of the fee-for-servicepayment system. Healthcare institutions are seeing a high volume of patients who are being seenfor unnecessary care. The Triple Aim Initiative is upstream solutions to common problems andaccess to more adequate, acute health care services. Patients will see improved and adequatelycoordinated health care while businesses will see more competitive opportunities to stabilize orreduce the per capita costs for populations. Quality of care and patient satisfaction rates areexpected to continue climbing with the Triple Aim Initiative (Nickitas, 2020).Communities attaining the Triple Aim Initiative will have increasingly healthierpopulations.
