Dante Henderson July 2, 2014 NT1110 Computer Structure and Logic Module 4 Differentiate between FAT 32 and NTFS file systems FAT32 (and the lesser-used FAT) was used in some earlier versions of Windows, 95, 98, millennium and is currently used for most USB flash drives.   You can't create a FAT32 partition greater than 32 gigabytes (GB), and you can't store a single file that's larger than 4 GB on a FAT32 partition.   FAT32 doesn't have the same security-related features that NTFS has.
